The Globe Hotel is a 19th Century Posting House originally patronised
by the cavalry officers from the training centre in Weedon.

Set In the Heart of the Shires Northants, eight miles from the centre of Northampton and three miles from Daventry, our central and easy to find location on the junction of the A5 and the A45 is a distinct advantage to both tourists and business people alike.

We are surrounded by beautiful countryside which is steeped in History. Weedon Village itself a long association with the British Army starting with the Cavalry in the early 1800’s right up to the Second World War when the Cavalry Centre was a large arsenal store.

The Gunpowder plot was hatched in Ashby St Ledgers only six miles from The Globe.

Three miles away we have a notable Roman site which has been discovered in the last two years.

We are also only eight miles from the village of Naseby where a famous battle took place between the Roundheads and Cavaliers.

Approximately a ten minute drive away is Althorp House the picturesque home of Earl Spencer and the site of the Princess Diana tribute museum.
